CBS sold spots for about $5.5 million during the pandemic, slightly below 2020's widely quoted $5.6 million. First Super Bowl to include out-of-home viewing, which Nielsen added to its national measurement in September 2020. Covers CBS and ESPN Deportes, including digital viewing credited to TV ratings. CBS's TV audience was first reported as about 92 million and later restated at 95.2 million after Nielsen fixed an out-of-home counting error; CBS's own total including streaming was 96.4 million, later restated at 99.7 million.
